JEE has 2 stages:

1️⃣ JEE Main

Conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency)

Entry for:

NITs, IIITs, GFTIs

Qualification for JEE Advanced

๐Ÿ“Œ Happens 2 times a year (Jan & April)

2️⃣ JEE Advanced

Only for top students who qualify JEE Main

For admission into IITs

Conducted by one of the IITs

Must pass 12th (PCM: Physics, Chemistry, Maths)

Can attempt 3 years (6 attempts)

Must qualify JEE Main (top ~2.5 lakh students)

Only 2 attempts in consecutive years

Total Marks: 300
